Warum Trauben

Was wir hier bewahren

Unsere Reben sind über 80 Jahre alt. Es ist Listán Prieto, die Sorte, die im 16. Jahrhundert von den Kanaren nach Amerika kam und dort als Mission, País und Criolla Chica weiterlebt. Auf den Kanaren gibt es davon kaum noch Bestände.

Die Terrassen darunter sind noch älter, angelegt von Generationen vor uns. Weinbau war auf La Palma fast verschwunden. Wir halten ihn am Leben, ohne Chemie und ohne Dünger, mit drei festen Stellen in Garafía.

Darum sammelt Ihr bei uns Trauben. Wer wiederkommt und Freunde mitbringt, ist ein Teil davon.

Gerechnet mit dem günstigsten Nachtpreis des Jahres und zwei Personen. In der Hochsaison sammelt Ihr mehr Trauben, eine Nacht kostet dann aber auch mehr. Eine Nacht könnt Ihr einlösen, sobald Eure Trauben reichen, auch bei einem kurzen Aufenthalt.

    Bucht Ihr während Eures Aufenthalts oder bis 30 Tage danach Euren nächsten Aufenthalt direkt bei uns, für dieses oder nächstes Jahr, oder bucht ein Freund auf Eure Empfehlung, schenken wir Euch einmal eine Nacht, zusätzlich zu Euren Trauben.

    Bucht Ihr selbst, ist die geschenkte Nacht gleich Teil dieser Buchung. Kommt sie über eine Empfehlung, löst Ihr sie innerhalb von 24 Monaten in einer eigenen Direktbuchung ein. Im ersten Programmjahr gibt es dafür höchstens 25 Nächte. Die Vorreservierung ist unverbindlich und geht, wenn für den Zeitraum keine andere Anfrage vorliegt.

In zwei Fällen die Hälfte obendrauf: wenn Ihr innerhalb von 30 Tagen nach der Abreise wieder direkt bucht, und wenn Freunde auf Eure Empfehlung direkt bei uns buchen. Bis Euer Einladungslink da ist, nennen sie bei der Buchung einfach Euren Namen.

    Trauben gibt es nur für Direktbuchungen. Eine Nacht könnt Ihr jederzeit einlösen, auch bei einem kurzen Aufenthalt, höchstens eine je Aufenthalt. Trauben gelten 24 Monate.

Ja. Euer Aufenthalt ist Euer Einstieg. Habt Ihr direkt bei uns gebucht, bringt er auch schon Trauben, wenn Ihr spätestens 30 Tage nach der Abreise beitretet.

Gibt es Hausinfos und WLAN auch ohne Mitgliedschaft?

Ja. Hausinfos, WLAN und der direkte Draht zu uns sind für alle Gäste da.

Wir haben über ein Portal gebucht.

Ihr seid trotzdem willkommen. Euer jetziger Aufenthalt zählt schon als Einstieg.

Muss ich mitmachen, oder geht das auch ganz ruhig?

Ihr könnt einfach dabei sein. Die Trauben wachsen von allein, wenn Ihr direkt bucht. Alles andere ist ein Angebot, keine Aufgabe.

Was passiert mit unseren Daten?

Wir speichern Euren Namen, Eure E-Mail und Euren Traubenstand, damit wir Euch wiedererkennen. Wir verkaufen nichts und geben nichts weiter; Dienstleister arbeiten nur in unserem Auftrag. Ihr könnt jederzeit austreten. Die Einzelheiten stehen im Datenschutzhinweis zum Programm.

Gezählt wird ab Eurem Beitritt, aus jeder Direktbuchung. Euer Konto mit dem Traubenstand folgt, wir sagen Euch Bescheid, sobald es da ist. Bis dahin müsst Ihr nichts aufheben oder nachweisen. Einlösen könnt Ihr schon vorher: schreibt uns, wir prüfen Euren Stand.

Why grapes

What we keep alive here

Our vines are more than 80 years old. They are Listán Prieto, the variety that travelled from the Canary Islands to the Americas in the 16th century and lives on there as Mission, País and Criolla Chica. Hardly any of it is left on the Canaries.

The terraces beneath them are older still, built by generations before us. Wine growing had almost disappeared from La Palma. We keep it alive, with no chemicals and no fertiliser, and three permanent jobs in Garafía.

That is why you collect grapes here. Whoever comes back and brings friends becomes part of it.

    Book your next stay directly with us during your visit or within 30 days after it, for this year or next, or have a friend book on your recommendation, and we give you a night once, on top of your grapes.

    If you book yourself, the gift night is part of that booking straight away. If it comes from a recommendation, you use it in a direct booking of your own within 24 months. In the first programme year there are at most 25 of these nights. Holding a house is non-binding and possible when there is no other request for those dates.

Half on top, in two cases: when you book directly again within 30 days of leaving, and when friends book directly with us on your recommendation. Until your invitation link is ready, they simply mention your name when they book.

We have already booked. Does that count?

Yes. Your stay is your start. If you booked directly with us, it already earns grapes when you join no later than 30 days after you leave.

Do we get house information and WiFi without joining?

Yes. House information, WiFi and a direct line to us are there for every guest.

We booked through a portal.

You are welcome all the same. Your current stay already counts as your start.

Do I have to take part, or can I just be there quietly?

You can simply be part of it. The grapes grow by themselves when you book directly. Everything else is an offer, not a task.

What happens to our data?

We store your name, your email and your grape balance, so we recognise you. We sell nothing and pass nothing on; service providers work only on our behalf. You can leave at any time. The details are in the programme privacy notice.

Where do I see my grapes?

They count from the day you join, from every direct booking. Your account with your balance is coming, and we will let you know when it is ready. Until then you do not need to keep or prove anything. You can already redeem before that: just write to us and we will check your balance.

Do I have to take the newsletter?

No. That is separate and voluntary.
